A month of Sundays

I write this post during a time of “world crisis”. (Covid 19)
We are one week into a statewide “stay at home” order in place:
One week into this quiet apocalypse and so far, and to me
Every day seems like a Sunday

Traffic is down.
People are home.
Bicycle and walkers – out exercising .
Many are home, doing yard work.
Families – together.
Stores, closed.

The media
(fear sells)

From the onset of this “crisis” I heard the stats of the “crisis” almost hourly on every media outlet.. You could not hide from the NEGATIVITY & FEAR injected into
our souls through the constant consumption of “information” – from any source.
Its coming up on one week where I put the media (all of it) on quarantine.
My fear faded in direct proportion to the amount of media consumption.

The opportunity
(gratitude rocks!)

I see this “crisis” as an opportunity.
An opportunity to live each day for the foreseeable future like its ….Sunday!
A time to slow down!!…. to relax and enjoy what really matters.
Its a once in a lifetime opportunity.
We can enjoy “Sunday”, every day for about the next month- if we choose to embrace this attitude.
OR, we can accept & approve of the projected fear and live the month like every day is a Monday.
A manic Monday.

Stop following. Start living!
